Games Global and Fortune Factory Studios deliver a knockout with UFC Gold Blitz Extreme™

24 July 2024 – Games Global and exclusive studio partner Fortune Factory Studios have launched UFC Gold Blitz Extreme™, the first in a series of intellectual property (IP) games that will utilise UFC’s global brand to create unique and immersive slots.

Several icons of the sport appear as symbols in the game, including ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones, recently retired Brazilian superstar Amanda ‘The Lioness’ Nunes, and China’s reigning women’s strawweight champion ‘Magnum’ Zhang Weili.

The base game takes place inside the virtual Octagon and includes the Gold Blitz™ Cash Collect feature, where all golden cash symbols on reels one to five are added together and paid out when a Blitz Collect symbol stops on reels one or six. When the Blitz symbol enters the Octagon on reels one and six, but no cash values land, a respin is awarded with a minimum of one cash symbol guaranteed to hit.

The bonus symbol takes the familiar shape of a UFC glove. When two gloves appear in the base game, the Cash Rewards™ Bonus Multiplier increases by 0.5x up to 5x and is applied to every win in the free spins or Cash Blitz™ feature. Landing three bonus symbols triggers the Bonus Choice feature, where players can select either free spins or the Cash Blitz™ bonus game.

The amount of triggering bonus symbols determines the number of free spins up to an initial value of 30. Additional spins can be awarded, with two to six scatters providing from five to 30 extra spins. During the feature, low-paying symbols are removed and any winning combination that includes a Wild is subject to a random multiplier up to 5x.

The Cash Blitz™ bonus round removes all symbols other than Blitz Collect, cash values, and retriggers. With every spin, all cash values present on the reels are collected, while retrigger symbols award one additional spin. There are also special 100x cash value symbols on offer, amplifying the win potential.

The game’s most lucrative bonus is the jackpot feature, which can be activated randomly on any base game spin where a coin symbol lands. Every time a coin hits and the bonus is not triggered, the value of one of the four jackpots is increased by up to 1x the stake. In the jackpot bonus round, players are guaranteed numerous cash prizes and at least one of the jackpots, from Mini to Mega, with each win accompanied by an image of an iconic UFC fighter moment.
